Using a Blended Learning Model to Create a Language Rich Interactive Classroom in Which All Students Can Thrive

Teachers can harness the capabilities of technology in order to personalize instruction for students and support student’s linguistic background. We will use Desmos Activities to help create language rich interactive blended mathematics classroom that will help foster a joy of doing mathematics. Students can express who they are through the mathematics by take advantage of the free tools at hand.

Play Borel! Testing your Probability Intuition and Confidence!

Join us as we explore the game Borel and use some selected Borel randomness scenarios to test our probability simulation. We will then explore these scenarios through simulations in both Desmos and GeoGebra, and when possible, generate coding solutions to enumerate all the possible outcomes.
