Bringing Parents to the Table

A major concern of mine is that all the work we are doing in our K-12 classrooms can only go far if we don’t build up the environment around our students. While we know that many parents project the “I suck at math” or “I’m not a math person” persona, there isn’t enough being done about it. In the short time we have together, my goal is to build some empathy and talk about possible steps towards bringing more parents to the table.
